Media Blasting also known as sandblasting is where we  combine abrasive media and compressed air with our state of the art powder coat gun.  Our industry specialized equipment  helps us to prepare surfaces for refinishing or other uses.  Media blasting is the most efficient way to remove debris from the surface of parts or preparing a surface for powder coating.

Every product contains oils and grease on the surface. The first step to a good media blast and or sandblast is wash the item and clean it's oil and greases off providing a better media blast and better powder coating.

This process involves blasting the surface with a high pressured blast pot to get rid of all the residues found on surfaces. This process prepares the surface proper adhesion. 

The final process is heating the parts up to remove contaminants. When you heat the part up at a higher temperature, the gasses get released prior to the powder coating process. If you do not outgass the item you may see bubbles form in the powder coating process.
